It is a hands‑on application configuration role spanning all three upstream modules: Supplier Lifecycle Performance (SLP), Sourcing, and Contracts. The role translates business requirements and global process designs into live system configuration — including workflows, approval structures, and underlying logic that enable the platform to operate effectively. It requires a strong understanding of how SAP Ariba integrates with SAP S/4HANA to ensure seamless alignment within the broader system landscape, while working closely with the SAP integration team responsible for delivery. Alongside the system build, the role supports procurement and business stakeholders throughout the transformation, ensuring adoption and alignment with the newly designed processes. The role also operates in close alignment with evolving regulatory and risk requirements, supporting the ramp‑up of a global Source‑to‑Pay transformation and collaborating closely with stakeholders across HR, Finance, TPRM, Outsourcing, Legal, and IT. /p h3YOUR CHALLENGE /h3 ul liTranslate business requirements and global process designs into robust SAP Ariba configuration /li liConfigure workflows, approval structures, status models, and qualification logic across Supplier Lifecycle Performance, Sourcing, and Contracts /li liEstablish the foundational platform configuration upon which subsequent build activities depend /li liEnsure configuration aligns with SAP S/4HANA integration requirements, collaborating closely with the SAP integration team /li liDefine and implement governance frameworks for supplier onboarding, use case management, and ongoing updates /li liSupport procurement and business stakeholders throughout the transformation, ensuring understanding, alignment, and adoption of new processes /li liDocument configuration standards, ensuring a consistent, scalable, and maintainable build /li liAct as a subject matter expert on upstream Ariba configuration, supporting both delivery teams and stakeholders /li /ul h3YOUR PROFILE /h3 ul liDeep, hands‑on expertise across all three upstream SAP Ariba modules — Supplier Lifecycle Performance (preferred), Sourcing, and Contracts — with proven capability across the full suite rather than a single domain /li liDemonstrated experience translating business requirements and process designs into effective system configuration, including workflows, approval logic, and data models /li liStrong understanding of SAP Ariba and SAP S/4HANA integration concepts, including data mapping, integration flows, and orchestration layers /li liProven experience building SAP Ariba solutions from the ground up, rather than operating or maintaining existing configurations /li liSolid understanding of supplier, sourcing, and contract data structures and their interaction across systems /li liStrong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to guide procurement and business teams through transformation and process change /li liExperience within large‑scale procurement or Source‑to‑Pay transformation programmes /li liExposure to regulated environments with governance and compliance requirements /li liHighly driven and accountable, taking ownership of delivery and proactively advancing the build /li liHands‑on and adaptable, thriving in a fast‑paced transformation environment. /li liCurious and solutions‑oriented, with the ability to quickly address new configuration challenges /li liCollaborative and approachable, focused on delivering impact and supporting stakeholders effectively /li liSAP Ariba Certification in at least one upstream module (SLP, Sourcing, or Contracts), with multiple certifications strongly preferred /li liSAP Ariba Integration Certification or demonstrable experience with Ariba–S/4HANA integration architecture (advantageous) /li liSAP S/4HANA certification (Procurement or integration‑related) /li liRelevant process or transformation certifications (e.g. Lean Six Sigma, BPMN, or equivalent) /li liFluent English is required /li /ul pThis is a back‑end application configuration role and is not suited to candidates whose SAP Ariba experience is limited to front‑end or end‑user activities. /p /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
