To support this mission, Syngenta’s Hiring Team is seeking a Onsite, bTeam Leader Process Technology New AI (m/f/d) /b in Münchwilen, Schweiz. /p h3Role purpose: /h3 pThe role involves leading a team of 1‑3 lab technicians in a chemistry lab while being responsible for developing and scaling‑up chemical reactions towards manufacturing, including preparation and support of pilot campaigns. The position requires maintaining comprehensive process know‑how for all assigned chemical steps. It also demands digital curiosity and confidence, working at the interface of chemistry, data and technology. /p h3Accountabilities: /h3 ul liEnsuring the required HSE standards and good laboratory practices are applied/respected. /li liOverseeing and defining the experimental program to deliver safe and sustainable chemical processes that are fit for the current development lifecycle stage under guidance of the project lead. /li liDesigning lab experiments and pilot campaigns to generate process understanding and know‑how. /li liMaintaining documentation to capture lab results and project requirements as defined by guidance. /li liSupporting process know‑how transfers in agreement with the project lead. /li liEnsuring close collaboration with project stakeholders. /li liSupporting the department in specialist roles. /li liPreparing inputs for cost estimates. /li liProposing, supporting, and implementing improvement projects. /li liEnsuring efficient use of provided resources. /li /ul h3Qualifications: /h3 ul liPhD in organic chemistry or chemical engineering, typically with a Post Doc. (or equivalent experience) /li liPractical experience in organic chemistry. /li liFluent English.
