Senior Project Manager (SAP S/4HANA Release Upgrade)

pFor an ongoing SAP transformation programme within a large international organisation, we are looking for an experienced Senior SAP S/4HANA Release Upgrade Project Manager. /p pThe successful candidate will take responsibility for managing a complex SAP S/4HANA release upgrade across multiple business units, countries, systems and stakeholder groups. The project is already underway, and the position is being filled as a replacement for an internally staffed project management role. /p ul li pLead and coordinate an SAP S/4HANA release upgrade project from planning through implementation and stabilisation /p /li li pDevelop and maintain the overall project plan, milestones, dependencies and delivery roadmap /p /li li pCoordinate cross-functional teams involving SAP specialists, technical teams, business representatives and external partners /p /li li pEnsure delivery within the agreed scope, timeline, quality standards and budget /p /li li pDefine and coordinate the technical upgrade approach, including: /p ul liSAP client concepts /li liSystem and application dependencies /li liFreeze periods and release windows /li liCutover preparation /li liDependencies on parallel projects and connected systems /li /ul /li li pIdentify, assess and actively manage project risks, issues and dependencies /p /li li pCoordinate stakeholders across different business units, countries and organisational levels /p /li li pPrepare and facilitate project governance meetings and steering committee sessions /p /li li pMaintain comprehensive and audit-ready project documentation throughout all project phases /p /li li pCreate and continuously update: /p ul liProject plans /li liStatus reports /li liDecision logs /li liRisk and issue registers /li /ul /li li pSteering committee presentations and materials /p /li li pCommunicate progress, risks, decisions and required actions clearly to technical and business stakeholders /p /li li pMore than 10 years of professional experience within the SAP environment /p /li li pProven experience managing SAP S/4HANA release upgrade or comparable SAP transformation projects /p /li li pStrong understanding of the technical and organisational requirements of SAP upgrade projects /p /li li pExperience managing complex, cross-functional and international project teams /p /li li pProven ability to manage scope, timelines, budgets, risks and stakeholder expectations /p /li li pGood technical understanding of: /p ul liSAP system landscapes /li liRelease and upgrade processes /li liClient concepts /li liCutover and freeze periods /li liInterfaces and system dependencies /li /ul /li li pStrong project governance and documentation capabilities /p /li li pExcellent stakeholder management and communication skills /p /li li pStructured, independent and delivery-focused working style /p /li /ulbrpPROSTAFF vermittelt und besetzt Informatik- und Data Science-Projekte in der Schweiz mit Freiberuflern, Freelancern, Contractors und temporären Mitarbeitern. /p
