Reporting to the Head of Procurement Technology AI, this role leads the configuration and build of upstream procurement processes within SAP Ariba. /ph3Responsibilities /h3ulliTranslate business requirements and global process designs into robust SAP Ariba configuration /liliConfigure workflows, approval structures, status models, and qualification logic across Supplier Lifecycle Performance, Sourcing, and Contracts /liliEstablish the foundational platform configuration upon which subsequent build activities depend /liliEnsure configuration aligns with SAP S/4HANA integration requirements, collaborating closely with the SAP integration team /liliDefine and implement governance frameworks for supplier onboarding, use case management, and ongoing updates /liliSupport procurement and business stakeholders throughout the transformation, ensuring understanding, alignment, and adoption of new processes /liliDocument configuration standards, ensuring a consistent, scalable, and maintainable build /liliAct as subject matter expert on upstream Ariba configuration, supporting both delivery teams and stakeholders /li /ulh3Qualifications /h3ulliDeep, hands‑on expertise across all three upstream SAP Ariba modules — Supplier Lifecycle Performance (preferred), Sourcing, and Contracts — with proven capability across the full suite rather than a single domain /liliDemonstrated experience translating business requirements and process designs into effective system configuration, including workflows, approval logic, and data models /liliStrong understanding of SAP Ariba and SAP S/4HANA integration concepts, including data mapping, integration flows, and orchestration layers /liliProven experience building SAP Ariba solutions from the ground up, rather than operating or maintaining existing configurations /liliSolid understanding of supplier, sourcing, and contract data structures and their interaction across systems /liliStrong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to guide procurement and business teams through transformation and process change /liliExperience within large‑scale procurement or source‑to‑pay transformation programmes /liliExposure to regulated environments with governance and compliance requirements /liliHighly driven and accountable, taking ownership of delivery and proactively advancing the build /liliHands‑on and adaptable, thriving in a fast‑paced transformation environment /liliCurious and solutions‑oriented, with the ability to quickly address new configuration challenges /liliCollaborative and approachable, focused on delivering impact and supporting stakeholders effectively /liliSAP Ariba certification in at least one upstream module (SLP, Sourcing, or Contracts), with multiple certifications strongly preferred /liliSAP Ariba Integration certification or demonstrable experience with Ariba–S/4HANA integration architecture (advantageous) /liliSAP S/4HANA certification (procurement or integration related) /liliRelevant process or transformation certifications (e.g., Lean Six Sigma, BPMN, or equivalent) /liliFluent English required /liliThis is a back‑end application configuration role and is not suited to candidates whose SAP Ariba experience is limited to front‑end or end‑user activities /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
