About our institution

Located in Payerne, our EMS accommodates 44 long-stay residents in a calm and family-like environment. We support elderly people in geriatric and complex geriatric situations. A development project is underway, with a new building planned for 2028.

Your duties

Under the delegation of the nursing staff,

• You provide medical-technical treatments and care to the residents.
• You assist and support residents in daily life activities with respect for human values and the well-being of each individual.

Your main responsibilities:

• Support the physical, psychosocial and spiritual well-being of the residents.
• Develop synergies with other sectors.
• Communicate information accurately both orally and in writing.

Profile sought

• Federal Certificate of Competence (CFC) as a community health and care assistant.
• FEE training will be an asset.
• Strong interest in geriatrics and psychiatry of advanced age.
• Ease in relating to elderly people, with respect, listening and empathy.
• Autonomous, organised, dynamic and flexible person.
• Good team spirit and sense of responsibility.
• Fluency in French (spoken and written) and computer skills (MS Office; knowledge of Carefolio is an asset).
