Operating in a highly manual warehouse environment, you will provide operational leadership, ensure governance and performance excellence, and support the safe, efficient, and cost-effective execution of warehouse and logistics activities whilst supporting GE Vernova’s operational and customer commitments. Working closely with cross-functional teams including Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, Planning, Finance, and EHS, you will drive operational excellence, inventory accuracy, continuous improvement, and digital warehouse management initiatives. In addition, you will serve as the Deputy Distribution Center Manager, supporting daily operations and site leadership. /ph3Responsibilities /h3ulliOwn warehouse KPIs, daily performance reporting, inventory accuracy, and cycle count governance. /liliDrive continuous improvement initiatives by identifying operational and WMS improvement opportunities. /liliAct as WMS key user, supporting system enhancements, testing, user acceptance, and implementation. /liliEnsure compliance with EHS, Quality, and operational standards while promoting a safe working environment. /liliSupport quality management through audits, defect management, root cause analysis, and corrective actions. /liliMaintain visual management standards and promote operational discipline across the warehouse. /liliIdentify operational risks, constraints, and improvement opportunities, providing transparency to site leadership. /liliSupport budgeting, forecasting, contract management, and warehouse performance optimization. /liliCollaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure material availability and operational excellence. /liliPotential responsibility for leading, coaching, and developing a warehouse operations team. /li /ulh3Qualifications /h3ullibBasic Qualifications: /b Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent professional experience. /liliExperience with ERP/WMS systems (SAP required, Oracle advantageous). /liliAdvanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel. /liliStrong communication skills in English and German. /liliWillingness to work hands-on on the shop floor and provide operational support when required. /li /ulh3What sets you apart /h3ulliStrong knowledge of warehouse operations, logistics, inventory management, and Lean principles. /liliAnalytical mindset with excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills. /liliExperience in continuous improvement and process optimization. /liliAbility to work effectively in cross-functional and matrix organizations. /liliSelf-motivated, structured, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment. /liliStrong presentation, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills. /li /ulh3What we offer /h3pEmployees at GE Vernova rise to the challenge of helping to create a world that thrives.
