To strengthen our team in the Fruit & Vegetables / Take Out area, we are looking for a motivated and committed person immediately, for a permanent position at the Vevey site, as a Department Manager, 100%.

Your responsibilities

• You take on the strategic management of all departments, including planning and organising all promotions.
• You continuously assess the commercial situation, analyse relevant key figures, and deduce concrete improvement measures.
• You lead, motivate, and coach employees and identify and support young talents in a targeted manner.
• You identify local and seasonal customer needs, conduct internal and external benchmarks, and implement possible optimisations.
• You ensure active communication and collaboration with headquarters and suppliers.
• You are responsible for planning and implementing budget objectives.
• You independently conduct hiring, dismissal, and evaluation interviews.
• You build a motivated, customer-focused, and high-performing team.
• You guarantee the quantitative and qualitative staffing structures in line with strategic orientation.

Your profile

• You have completed basic training in retail and have several years of professional experience in the sector.
• You have already gained direct management experience.
• You hold advanced professional training with a background in business management, and ideally have completed further training as a retail specialist.
• You have proven experience in the required field.
• You have already demonstrated your abilities in a similar results-oriented position and understand the responsibilities of such a role.
• You enjoy creating new things and finding appropriate solutions to every problem.
• You are innovative and aspire to take on new challenges.
• You enjoy strategic tasks and analyses (ad hoc analyses, KPIs, etc.).
• You are capable of leading your team to achieve desired results, inspiring them with your coaching skills, and motivating them sustainably.
