As a Software Engineer, you will play a key part in designing, developing, and maintaining software for our inspection robots and camera systems. We are seeking a talented and passionate software engineer to join our engineering team. This role is ideal for candidates in the early stages of their career, who already have some hands-on experience but are still looking to build and expand their technical expertise. As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Designing and developing control software including UI design in accordance with product or project needs.

• Testing and validating new hardware platforms

• Supporting development of new camera and robotic systems.

• Bug fixing and feature updating to existing control software.

• Participating in all phases of the software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and design to testing and deployment.

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have a bachelor's or master’s degree in computer science or similar field.

• Have professional work experience; experience in micro mechanics or robotics would be strongly preferred.

• Bring Python, C++/C# or Java programming experience.

• Familiarity with AI inferencing workflows, deployment pipelines, or machine learning models is a plus.

• Be familiar with Python libraries such as NumPy, SciPy, PyQt; as well as with source control systems such as Git

• Bring concurrent programming experience (e.g. threading, multiprocessing).

• Have knowledge of software design and architecture patterns (e.g., MVVM, MVC, pub-sub).

• Be fluent in English, German language is a plus.
