Software Technical Lead

ppOur client is looking for an experienced bTechnical Lead, Embedded Software, /b to join its RD Engineering organization and support the industrialization of innovative embedded products. /p pThis role combines btechnical leadership /b with bhands-on embedded software engineering /b. You will lead the software work package within multidisciplinary product development projects while actively contributing to the design and implementation of embedded software solutions. /p pThe ideal candidate brings strong expertise in bembedded C++ development /b, bMatlab/Simulink /b, bmodel-based development /b, and brequirements engineering /b, together with proven experience coordinating embedded software teams and driving successful project execution. /p h3Your Responsibilities /h3 ul liLead the embedded software activities within product development projects from concept through industrialization. /li liDrive the planning, estimation, execution, and successful delivery of embedded software work packages. /li liGuide and mentor embedded software engineers, ensuring high standards of software quality and timely delivery. /li liTranslate system requirements into detailed software requirements and maintain full traceability throughout development. /li liPlan and coordinate software sub-projects using a structured waterfall development approach. /li liManage software scope, effort estimation, resource planning, technical risks and project milestones. /li liCollaborate closely with system engineers, electronics engineers, mechanical engineers, and cross-functional stakeholders. /li liSupport software architecture, implementation, integration, verification and validation activities. /li liContribute to the continuous improvement of software development processes and engineering practices. /li /ul h3Required Qualifications /h3 h3Education /h3 ul liBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or a related Engineering discipline. /li /ul h3Required Experience /h3 ul li5-8 years of professional experience in Embedded Software Engineering. /li li5-8 years of Technical Project Management or Technical Lead experience. /li liProven track record delivering embedded software projects in industrial or product development environments. /li liExperience leading software teams while remaining technically hands-on. /li liStrong execution mindset with the ability to deliver high-quality results under project constraints. /li /ul h3Technical Skills /h3 h3Must Have /h3 ul liStrong Embedded Software Development experience /li liC++ (3-5+ years) /li liMatlab/Simulink (3-5+ years) /li liRequirements Engineering /li liTechnical Project Management /li liSoftware estimation, planning and delivery /li liEmbedded software lifecycle /li liSoftware quality management /li liCross-functional collaboration /li /ul h3Highly Desirable /h3 ul liModel-Based Development (MBD) /li liAutomatic Code Generation for Embedded Targets /li liSoftware Architecture /li liEmbedded Systems Design /li liSoftware Verification Validation /li /ul h3Tools /h3 ul liMatlab /li liSimulink /li liC++ /li liJira /li liConfluence /li /ul h3Language Requirements /h3 ul libGerman: /b Fluent (spoken and written) /li libEnglish: /b Fluent (spoken and written) /li /ul h3What Makes You Successful /h3 pYou are an experienced embedded software engineer who enjoys taking ownership of technical delivery.
