The role is central to guiding and supporting clients through their sourcing processes, ensuring optimal value, compliance with internal and international regulations, and acting as a trusted advisor. The position requires managing 10–15 initiatives simultaneously, often under tight and shifting deadlines, and demands a strong customer service orientation. /p pKey Responsibilities /p li pDevelop and implement sourcing strategies to maximize efficiency and value. /p /li li pAnalyse procurement costs and recommend cost-reduction methods. /p /li li pNegotiate and secure profitable deals for clients. /p /li li pOptimize sourcing procedures for efficiency. /p /li li pCollaborate with senior stakeholders (VPs/MDs) to align on terms and processes. /p /li li pLead end-to-end RFx processes using SaaS tools. /p /li li pConduct cost/scenario analysis and benchmarking. /p /li li pEstimate and mitigate risks in sourcing. /p /li li pMonitor supplier market dynamics and anticipate shifts in negotiating power. /p /li li pIdentify and partner with reliable vendors. /p /li li pPlan delivery quantities and timing. /p /li pRequired Experience Skills /p li p5–8 years of sourcing experience. /p /li li p5–10 years of IT experience across: /p /li li pSoftware pricing and licensing models /p /li li pHardware pricing, end-user devices, servers /p /li li pData centre operations /p /li li pOutsourcing and Offshoring to near and offshore locations /p /li li pCloud services (IaaS, SaaS, PaaS) /p /li li pAbility to work independently with senior client stakeholders. /p /li li pProven negotiation skills for multi-million-dollar deals. /p /li li pFamiliarity with e-sourcing tools. /p /li li pBusiness fluency in English. /p /li pAdditional Internal Insights /p li pThe role is positioned as a “trusted advisor” and requires strong stakeholder management, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to handle multiple, fast-paced initiatives. /p /li li pStrategic Sourcers are expected to support and mentor junior colleagues, drive improvements, and act as category champions within the organization. /p /li li pThe position is embedded in a global procurement services context, with Chain IQ operating across major international hubs and servicing clients in over 20 countries. /p /li pbJoin a truly global team. /b /p pWe offer a dynamic and international environment where high performance meets real purpose.
