Make it your story. /p pbYour role and responsibilities /b /ppIn this role, you will be responsible to develop the Energy market by executing sales strategy aiming to meet the sales target and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction. You will create, and complete winning bids, estimations or quotations based on customer specification, customer requirements or budget to meet market competitiveness and high margin of the Energy Industries’ sales strategy to accomplish both qualitative and quantitative targets for the business line Excitation in a profitable way. /p pThe work model for the role is: #LI-Hybrid /p pThis role is contributing to the Energy Industries division in Switzerland. /p pbYou will be mainly accountable for: /b /pulliCustomer Engagement: Build and maintain solid customer relationships, ensuring a positive experience and providing technical support during sales interactions. /liliSales Execution: Enhance sales through strategic initiatives, value-based selling, target setting, and engaged participation in contract negotiations. /liliBid Management: Manage the preparation of competitive bids and proposals, addressing technical, financial, and project aspects while identifying risks and ensuring accurate documentation. /liliProcess Compliance: Ensure compliance with internal guidelines, efficient use of tools, accurate forecasting, and support for administrative and reporting processes. /li /ul pbQualifications for the role /b /pulliBachelor/master’s Electrical Engineering /liliMore than 8 years of experience in related field e.g., In Bids Proposals/Engineering in power generation/industry projects or service /liliPrevious experience in the field of Excitation- / power electronics systems / protection or synchronous generators will be a benefit /liliExperience in system modelling or simulation will be an advantage /liliExperience in developing strong customer and internal relationships locally and globally as well as enjoy working in a wide variety of cultures and in many different sectors /liliFluent in English, German or French language beneficial /liliWillingness to engage directly with clients and teams worldwide—travel commitment up to 15%. /li /ul pbMore about us /b /ppABB Energy Industries is enabling safe, smart and sustainable projects and operations for businesses across the oil, gas, chemicals, life sciences, power generation and water sectors.
