Hardware Engineering Manager

ppWe are seeking an experienced bHardware Engineering Manager /b to lead a talented electronics team developing advanced hardware solutions for next-generation communication and aerospace technologies. /p pThis is a senior leadership role combining technical expertise, team development, and engineering delivery. You will be responsible for growing the capability of the hardware function while ensuring complex electronic products are designed, validated, and delivered to the highest standards. /p pWorking within a multidisciplinary engineering environment, you will collaborate closely with teams across RF, systems, software, and mechanical engineering to solve complex technical challenges and deliver reliable, high-performance hardware solutions. /p h3The Role /h3 ul liLead and develop a team of hardware engineers, providing technical direction, mentoring, and career support. /li liTake ownership of hardware development activities from early concepts through design, verification, and production. /li liSupport engineering strategy, resource planning, and the continued growth of the hardware capability. /li liGuide technical decisions around electronic architecture, design approaches, and product performance. /li liEnsure hardware solutions meet demanding requirements around reliability, performance, environmental conditions, and manufacturability. /li liWork with internal teams, suppliers, and external partners to ensure successful delivery of projects. /li liChampion robust engineering processes, including design reviews, testing, documentation, and continuous improvement. /li /ul h3What We’re Looking For /h3 ul liDegree qualified in Electronic Engineering or a related technical discipline. /li liSignificant experience within hardware/electronics engineering, with previous responsibility for leading technical teams or projects. /li liStrong technical background in analog and mixed-signal electronics design. /li liExperience taking electronic products through the complete development lifecycle, from concept to manufacture. /li liFamiliarity with PCB design processes and tools such as Altium. /li liPractical experience with hardware testing and validation using equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analysers, and network analysers. /li liStrong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. /li liAbility to make informed technical decisions and coordinate activity across multiple engineering disciplines. /li /ul h3Desirable Experience /h3 ul liSpace, aerospace, satellite communications, or other high-reliability technology environments. /li liRF systems and complex electronic architectures. /li liFPGA and embedded hardware development. /li liEMI/EMC considerations and environmental qualification. /li liHigh-speed digital electronics. /li liRequirements management and structured engineering processes. /li liBuilding, scaling, or improving hardware engineering teams. /li /ul h3The Opportunity /h3 pThis is an opportunity for an experienced hardware leader to play a key role in shaping both technology and engineering capability within a highly skilled RD environment. /p pYou will have the autonomy to influence technical direction, develop engineering talent, and contribute to the delivery of advanced electronic systems used in demanding real-world applications. /p /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
