ph3Your Role /h3 pAs Senior Backup Engineer at Bank J. Safra Sarasin you are responsible for the administration and monitoring of our enterprise backup environment and provide a reliable, high-quality service to the Bank's critical systems. /p h3Your Responsibilities /h3 ul liSupport backup restore operational activities /li liCollaborate on the design and execution of disaster recovery tests /li liImplement monitoring and automation for backup and restore operations /li liCollaborate on the design and evolution of the backup infrastructure, supporting the architectural evolution of legacy systems and migration projects /li liAssist the team on infrastructure related tasks, including on-call service /li /ul h3Your Profile /h3 ul liHigher education in Computer Science (University/FH) /li liAt least 3 - 5 years of practical experience in the field of backup management, engineering, and enterprise backup solutions /li liGood foundational knowledge in SAN storage, Linux, and Windows, with specific expertise in data recovery exercises and Disaster Recovery Plans /li liFamiliarity with Linux (Red Hat) and UNIX-based OS systems and a strong affinity for automation are highly valuedITIL and TOGAF certifications are considered an advantage /li liA hands‑on professional with strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, capable of effectively weighing issues, setting priorities, and taking full ownership of tasks /li liA team player characterized by strong work ethics, integrity, and high accountability /li liFluent in English; proficiency in German and/or French is a plus /li /ul h3Your Benefits /h3 ul liEntrepreneurial spirit in a family owned bank /li liCentral city office locations across Switzerland /li liAbove average insurance coverage fully borne by the bank /li liContribution to health insurance and meal allowance /li liGlobal growth strategy and stable environment /li liCompetitive offering /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
