Operating in a highly manual warehouse environment, you will provide operational leadership, ensure governance and performance excellence, and support the safe, efficient, and cost‑effective execution of warehouse and logistics activities whilst supporting GE Vernova’s operational and customer commitments. /li liWorking closely with cross-functional teams including Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, Planning, Finance, and EHS, you will drive operational excellence, inventory accuracy, continuous improvement, and digital warehouse management initiatives. In addition, you will serve as the Deputy Distribution Center Manager, supporting daily operations and site leadership. /li /ul h3Job Description /h3 pbYour responsibilities /b /p ul liOwn warehouse KPIs, daily performance reporting, inventory accuracy, and cycle count governance. /li liDrive continuous improvement initiatives by identifying operational and WMS improvement opportunities. /li liAct as WMS key user, supporting system enhancements, testing, user acceptance, and implementation. /li liEnsure compliance with EHS, Quality, and operational standards while promoting a safe working environment. /li liSupport quality management through audits, defect management, root cause analysis, and corrective actions. /li liMaintain visual management standards and promote operational discipline across the warehouse. /li liIdentify operational risks, constraints, and improvement opportunities, providing transparency to site leadership. /li liSupport budgeting, forecasting, contract management, and warehouse performance optimization. /li liCollaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure material availability and operational excellence. /li liPotential responsibility for leading, coaching, and developing a warehouse operations team. /li /ul pbWhat you should bring (Basic Qualifications) /b /p ul liBachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent professional experience. /li liExperience with ERP/WMS systems (SAP required, Oracle advantageous). /li liAdvanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel. /li liStrong communication skills in English and German. /li liWillingness to work hands‑on on the shopfloor and provide operational support when required. /li /ul pbWhat sets you apart? /b /p ul liStrong knowledge of warehouse operations, logistics, inventory management, and Lean principles. /li liAnalytical mindset with excellent problem‑solving and decision‑making skills. /li liExperience in continuous improvement and process optimization. /li liAbility to work effectively in cross‑functional and matrix organizations. /li liSelf‑motivated, structured, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment. /li liStrong presentation, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills. /li /ul pbWhat we offer /b /p pEmployees at GE Vernova rise to the challenge of helping to create a world that thrives.
