To support this mission, Syngenta’s Hiring Team is seeking a Onsite, strongTeam Leader Process Technology New AI (m/f/d) /strong in Münchwilen, Schweiz. /ppstrongRole purpose: /strong /ppThe role involves leading a team of 1-3 lab technicians in a chemistry lab while being responsible for developing and scaling-up chemical reactions towards manufacturing, including preparation and support of pilot campaigns. The position requires maintaining comprehensive process know-how for all assigned chemical steps. It also demands digital curiosity and confidence, working at the interface of chemistry, data and technology. /ppstrongAccountabilities: /strong /pulliEnsuring the required HSE standards and good laboratory practices are applied/respected. /liliOverseeing and defining the experimental program to deliver safe and sustainable chemical processes that are fit for the current development lifecycle stage under guidance of the project lead. /liliDesigning lab experiments and pilot campaigns to generate process understanding and know-how /liliMaintaining documentation to capture lab results and project requirements as defined by guidance. /liliSupporting process know-how transfers in agreement with the project lead. /liliEnsuring close collaboration with project stakeholders. /liliSupporting the department in specialist roles. /liliPreparing inputs for cost estimates. /liliProposing, supporting, and implementing improvement projects. /liliEnsuring efficient use of provided resources. /li /ulbrQualificationsbr/br/ulliPhD in organic chemistry or chemical engineering, typically with a Post Doc. (or equivalent experience) /liliPractical experience in organic chemistry. /liliFluent English.
