SAP Ariba Specialist

On behalf of our client, Swisslinx is seeking an experienced SAP Ariba Configuration Specialist to support a large-scale global Source-to-Pay transformation programme.

SAP Ariba SpecialistJob description:

• Configure SAP Ariba Upstream modules including Supplier Lifecycle & Performance (SLP), Sourcing and Contracts
• Translate business requirements into scalable system configuration and solution design
• Build workflows, approval processes, status models, supplier qualification logic and governance frameworks
• Configure supplier onboarding and procurement processes in line with global standards
• Collaborate closely with SAP integration teams to ensure seamless integration with SAP S/4HANA
• Support procurement and business stakeholders throughout the transformation programme
• Produce configuration documentation and establish best practice standards
• Act as the SAP Ariba subject matter expert, supporting project delivery and stakeholder engagement

About the customer:

This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on SAP Ariba expert to play a key role in configuring and delivering a modern procurement platform across Supplier Lifecycle & Performance (SLP), Sourcing and Contracts.

This is a back-end configuration role focused on building and configuring SAP Ariba solutions from the ground up. It is not suited to candidates whose experience is limited to end-user, operational procurement or support activities.

Requirements:

• Extensive hands-on configuration experience across SAP Ariba Upstream modules, particularly Supplier Lifecycle & Performance (SLP), Sourcing and Contracts
• Proven experience delivering SAP Ariba implementations, ideally within greenfield or large transformation programmes
• Strong understanding of workflow configuration, approval structures, business rules and supplier data models
• Experience working with SAP Ariba integrations to SAP S/4HANA, including knowledge of integration concepts and data mapping
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to bridge business and technical teams
• Experience within global procurement or Source-to-Pay transformation programmes
• Exposure to regulated environments and governance frameworks is advantageous
