As a Senior Data Engineer, you will play a key role in designing and delivering modern, scalable data platforms that power strategic business decisions for major public and private organizations. You will work on cutting‑edge cloud and big data ecosystems using Azure, AWS, Databricks, Spark, and modern DevOps practices to create high‑performance data solutions. What you’ll do Design, architect, and build enterprise‑grade cloud data platforms from the ground up Develop scalable data pipelines and distributed systems for large‑scale data integration Collaborate with business stakeholders, software engineers, analysts, and data scientists Contribute throughout the full project lifecycle: strategy, architecture, implementation, deployment, and optimization Mentor junior engineers and promote technical excellence within the team Support innovation initiatives, proof‑of‑concepts, and technical pre‑sales activities Help shape ELCA’s Data AI thought leadership through innovation and best practices What you bring 4+ years of experience in data engineering, cloud data platforms, or distributed systems Strong expertise in SQL, data architecture, ETL/ELT, and large‑scale data processing Hands‑on experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP Experience with Databricks and/or Snowflake Strong understanding of DevOps, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, and automation Knowledge of Terraform, real‑time or micro‑batch architectures Familiarity with data mesh, data products, or AI/ML environments is a plus Strong communication skills in French and English Work on high‑impact projects for leading Swiss organizations Access cutting‑edge technologies in cloud, big data, and AI Thrive in an international, multicultural environment Continuous learning, certification, and professional development opportunities Strong career growth potential in technical leadership Collaborative culture with real innovation impact #J-18808-Ljbffr
