Corporate Strategy & Business Development Senior Associate / Energy Assets Development

ppbJob Description /b /p /ppThis role will support MET Group´s corporate strategy, evaluate organic and inorganic growth opportunities, as well as shape and manage various business development initiatives. /ppbEssential responsibilities /b /pliProvide a clear view on renewables and conventional energy market trends based on economic, regulatory, technology and supply chain information to enable informed strategy and business decisions /liliLead and facilitate multiple large strategic initiatives in cooperation with the executives of the Renewable and Asset Segment /liliPro-actively propose and design identified operational excellence and strategic initiatives, build project teams, and support shaping MET Groups strategic agenda /liliEvaluate the strategic consistency of the Renewable and Asset Segment's business, as well as due diligence organic and inorganic MA/ project opportunities /liliMonitor competitor developments and benchmarks, as well as market developments across all business areas to assess their long-term impact /liliOriginate and evaluate business/ investment opportunities in innovative, low-carbon fuel sources and technologies /liliProject manage pan-European and global business development/ building initiatives /lippbQualifications /b /p /pliMaster’s degree in finance, law or business administration from a tier1 university (CFA and/or MBA a plus) /lili4-5 years’ experience in developing energy assets from investment banking, private equity/debt, and/or MA /liliIn-depth expertise in the European energy market /liliAbility to summarize complex topics and extract decision options /liliExcellent project management and interpersonal skills /liliHighly motivated, solid work ethic, and ability to work in a close-knit team /liliCreative and open-minded with an ability to link theoretical scenarios into concrete action plans/practice /liliFluent English, other European languages a plus /li
