What You Can Contribute

• Draft judgements, particularly in the fields of social insurance law (AHV/IV for persons domiciled abroad, occupational pension schemes, accident insurance) and public health law (especially hospital lists and tariffs, highly specialised medicine, list of specialities, medicines and medical devices)
• Participate in the examination of appeals in administrative law proceedings
• Draft the minutes of deliberations and public debates

What Makes You Unique

• University degree in law, preferably with a lawyer’s licence and/or doctorate
• A few years of professional experience in administration, a law firm or a court and/or in the legal matters of Court III, or an academic career, are advantageous
• Sharp analytical mind, precise linguistic expression, high autonomy, resilience to stress, ability to work in a team and accept criticism
• French as main and working language; good active knowledge of German and, if possible, passive knowledge of Italian

It rules as the court of last instance in most cases; among the judgements subject to appeal to the Federal Supreme Court, only a minority are challenged.
