The Forum engages the foremost political, business, cultural and other leaders of society to shape global, regional and industry agendas. /ph3Why we are recruiting /h3pTo strengthen the leadership capacity of the Security Affairs function in response to the growing scale and complexity of global events and increased business travel, we are recruiting a Lead Event Security professional to act as the deputy to the Global Events Security Manager. /ph3Reporting Lines Interactions /h3pReports to the Global Events Security Manager and serves as the second-in-command for event security operations. Works closely with internal teams, regional stakeholders, and external partners, including public authorities and private security providers. /ph3Breakdown of main responsibilities /h3ulli70% Event security leadership and planning /lili30% Operational oversight and coordination /li /ulh3The successful candidate will be assessed on /h3ulliAct as deputy to the Global Events Security Manager, ensuring continuity and leadership across all event security activities /liliSupport the planning and execution of security operations for major events (e.g. Annual Meeting, AMNC), in close coordination with the Global Events Security Manager /liliIndependently lead and deliver security planning and operations for smaller and mid-sized events /liliOversee security concepts and operational plans across the event portfolio /liliCoordinate with internal stakeholders and external partners, including Swiss and international law enforcement, and vendors /liliProvide on-site leadership during events, including team coordination and incident management /li /ulh3Preferred Requirements and Experience /h3ulliAcademic degree or equivalent and previous experience working in the field of security, law enforcement or military. /liliExcellent oral and written communication skills in English, French and German, an additional language is an asset. /liliStrong organizational skills and experience in project management. /liliVery good command of Microsoft Office applications. /li /ulh3Why join us? /h3pJoin an independent and impartial organization with over 55 years of connecting leaders to make sense of global challenges and move the world forward together. /p /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
