ph3Overview /h3 pOur site in Meyrin, Switzerland currently has an exciting opportunity for a bHealth, Safety and Environmental Leader /b. /p pThe Site bHealth, Safety and Environmental Leader /b is responsible for leading the ongoing development, implementation and continuous improvement of the Meyrin Technology and Innovation Center's Stewardship programs and performance. /p pThe successful candidate will lead, develop and maintain high performance while engaging with the site leaders to drive world‑class Stewardship performance at the site. /p pThis position will also serve as the EMEA regional Stewardship resource for Technology and Innovation, bLaboratories /b and bOffice /b teams. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 pIn this role, you will: /p ul liCollaborate with the site director, site leadership team and other leaders at the site and corporate level to establish site Stewardship strategies and long‑range plan and ensures that the strategies and long‑range plans are effective, simple, and deliver on time results. /li liEnsure that the strategies and the long‑range plans build a culture of “no harm” to our people, to our community, and to the environment. /li liEffectively lead Environmental, Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Process Safety and Security programs to achieve corporate and regulatory compliance every day. /li liInfluence and coach site team on robust action plans to overall stewardship performance. /li liDevelop and manage KPI's and metrics to measure progress and effectiveness of safety initiatives, programs, processes, and policies. /li liDevelop a robust set of leading indicators that focuses the team on the critical activities and behaviors to enable excellent Stewardship results. /li liEnsure site Stewardship policies are simplified and easy to adhere to in the field, while aligned with regulatory and corporate requirements. /li liEstablish continuous improvement initiatives that are aligned with Human Organizational Performance (HOP) leadership principles. /li liBuild collaborative relationships with site partners and regulatory groups to ensure regulatory compliance is achieved and to build goodwill with the surrounding communities. /li liAccountable for incident management at the site and drives near miss and hazard condition reporting. /li liEffectively manage emergency and security response programs and engage community associations to act as a liaison. /li liEnsure effective site sustainability reporting and improvement initiatives that are aligned with corporate sustainability goals and requirements. /li liEnsure completion of 1st Party Stewardship Audits and work with the sites leadership team to analyze results to drive continual improvement. /li liCoordinate 2nd party audit schedules and the execution, development, and implementation plan to resolve any audit findings. /li liParticipate in field engagement and interactions with employees and contractors to promote Stewardship continual improvement. /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 pWhat YOU will bring to the team: /p ul liUniversity degree in Chemistry, Engineering, EHS, or similar technical discipline. /li liSwiss Diploma “Ingénieur sécurité MSST” is a requirement. /li liChargé de sécurité incendie is desired. /li liAt least 5 -10 years of EHS Management or experience in a Laboratory/RD environment. /li li5+ years of strong leadership, people management and development skills in an industrial environment. /li liExperience and working knowledge of process safety, environmental, industrial health programs, and occupational safety programs and requirement. /li liProactive leadership and team‑building skills with the ability to work effectively throughout the organization. /li liAbility to develop and grow Stewardship competency through coaching. /li liExceptional communication skills and the ability to communicate appropriately at all organization levels through written and verbal communications, in both English and in French. /li liAbility to understand how to influence business objectives across the site without formal supervisory authority. /li liStrong interpersonal skills with excellent verbal and written communication in both English and French. /li liStrong sense of ownership and a drive to achieve timely results. /li liExcellent organization and time management skills. /li liThe confidence to deal with ambiguity. /li liStrong analytical and problem‑solving skills. /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
