Each day, you will provide technical support, act as a specialist, and solve problems within your area of expertise. You will also leverage your expertise by proactively communicating with both customers and ABB service sales and life cycle management teams to understand customer needs and capitalize on business opportunities for service growth. The role includes on-site assignments up to 40% of the time. /p pThe work model for the role is: LI-Hybrid /p pThis role contributes to the Business Line Mining Materials in a global leadership role for the anchor product GMD (Gearless Mill Drive). Main stakeholders include customers, internal service sales and life cycle management teams, and other engineering disciplines. /p pbYou will be mainly accountable for: /b /pullipProviding technical support and solving problems via remote or on-site service, including installation and commissioning, maintenance, repairs, trouble shooting, back-office engineering and consulting, retrofit engineering, etc. /p /lilipInvestigating customer needs through professional consulting. Additionally, managing customer relationships and maintaining regular contact with key customers and acting as 24/7 support line for one complete week, approx. every two months, depending on availability. /p /lilipProactively suggesting product and quality improvements and communicating them within the ABB organization. /p /lilipProviding technical consulting on Service solutions to management and customers. You will join a truly international and dynamic team, where you will be able to thrive. /p /li /ul pbQualifications for the role /b /pullipA bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering or any related field. /p /lilipProven experience as an electrical engineer, product specialist or in a similar technical role, preferably within the power electronics sector. /p /lilipA collaborative, solution-focused approach with effective communication and relationship-building skills. /p /lilipExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling seamless collaboration across departments and with customers. /p /lilipAttention to detail, ensuring product conformity, accurate technical documentation, and adherence to quality standard. /p /lilipFluency in English is required.
