Tasks

Our ‘Offer Pricing’ teams focus on maximizing the Lufthansa Group’s passenger revenue by developing & implementing pricing and steering strategies which are based on customer insights and the wider competitive landscape. We're looking for an intern who can:

• Design and develop end-to-end data solutions, from data collection to final user-facing output
• Clean, transform and analyze data into actionable insights for our Offer Pricing team
• Develop proof-of-concept to validate ideas and deliver business value
• Write clean, well-structured and maintainable Python code
• Present findings, prototypes and completed solutions in a clear and understandable way
• Support the Offer Pricing teams with ad-hoc analyses and administrative based tasks

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree or an “HF” Advanced Federal Diploma of Higher Education in Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Engineering or Economics
• Proficiency in Python or another programming language (R, Java, C++ or similar) with the ability to write clear, efficient code for data analysis and automation
• A can-do and proactive mindset with sense of initiative, curious with a desire to learn
• Self-motivated with ability to think and work independently on assigned tasks
• Team-player with strong social skills who appreciates open communication
• English language skills (written & spoken)
