In 2009 the organization expanded to become a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), serving patients of all incomes, ethnicities and walks of life. Over the last decade, FLCH has grown to provide medical, dental, and behavioral health services to over 28,000 patients at eight health centers. This position ensures timely and accurate reimbursement while maintaining compliance with Medicare, Medicaid, payer, and Federally Qualified Health Center requirements. The Revenue Cycle Manager works closely with Finance, health center operations, clinical leadership, Health Information, Credentialing, and Compliance to resolve billing issues, improve workflows, and support the financial sustainability of the organization. /p pThis position can work out of Geneva, Penn Yan, or Sodus offices. /p h3Main Responsibilities /h3 ul libRevenue Cycle Operations /b ul liOversee all revenue cycle functions, including charge capture, coding coordination, claims submission, payment posting, patient billing, collections, account reconciliation, and accounts receivable management. /li liMonitor claims through final payment or resolution and ensure compliance with payer filing deadlines. /li liOversee resolution of complex or escalated claims, denials, underpayments, and payment issues. /li liCoordinate with clinical and operational departments to resolve registration, documentation, coding, and charge‑entry issues and delays. /li liDevelop, maintain, and improve billing procedures, workflows, and internal controls to support compliance and operational effectiveness. /li /ul /li libFQHC Billing Reimbursement /b ul liEnsure compliance with Medicare, Medicaid, managed care, commercial payer, and Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) billing and reimbursement requirements. /li liMaintain expertise in Medicaid Prospective Payment System (PPS) reimbursement, Medicare FQHC billing, wraparound payments, and payer‑specific reimbursement methodologies. /li liOversee billing processes for medical, dental, behavioral health, telehealth, care management, and other applicable services. /li liEnsure appropriate application of sliding fee discount and patient financial assistance. /li /ul /li libCompliance Payer Relations /b ul liEnsure revenue cycle operations comply with federal and state regulations, payer contracts, HIPAA, and organizational policies. /li liServe as the primary point of contact regarding claims, enrollment, reimbursement, audits, and payment issues. /li liCoordinate internal and external billing audits and support documentation requests. /li /ul /li libReporting Collaboration /b ul liMonitor and analyze key revenue cycle performance indicators, including days in accounts receivable, denial rates, clean claim rates, collection rates, reimbursement trends, and other operational metrics. /li liPrepare reports, analyses, and recommendations for leadership to improve revenue cycle performance and financial outcomes. /li liAssist with month‑end reconciliation, budgeting, forecasting, financial audits, and strategic planning initiatives. /li liEducate providers, managers, and staff on billing requirements, documentation standards, and revenue cycle best practices. /li /ul /li libDocumentation /b ul liEnsure claims, payment posting records, patient account notes, and billing‑related documentation are complete and compliant within the EHR system. /li liMaintain organized electronic records to support audits, reviews, and reporting. /li /ul /li libStaff Supervision /b ul liSupervise the performance of billing staff, including conducting evaluations, auditing staff data entry, providing counseling, training, and administering disciplinary actions as needed. /li liOversee recruitment, interviewing, onboarding, and training of billing staff. /li /ul /li liPerform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor. /li /ul h3Education and Qualifications /h3 ul libEducation /b ul liBachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or other related field is required. /li liMaster’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or other related field is preferred. /li /ul /li libQualifications /b ul li5+ years in a healthcare or customer service setting required – billing or revenue cycle experience preferred. /li liPrior experience in supervisory or management position preferred. /li liA valid government‑issued photo identification document is required. /li liA valid New York State driver’s license in compliance with FLCH driver’s policy is required. /li liCurrent New York State automobile insurance in compliance with FLCH underwriting agreement is required. Policy limits should reflect $100,000/$300,000/$100,000 coverage. /li liDemonstrates comprehensive knowledge of healthcare billing, reimbursement, claims processing, accounts receivable management, and revenue cycle operations, including Medicare, Medicaid, managed care, and Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) reimbursement requirements. /li liStrong knowledge of healthcare information systems, business software, and reporting tools. /li liSkilled in using revenue cycle data to inform planning and process improvement. /li liExperienced in guiding teams and promoting strong performance outcomes. /li liCapable of monitoring operational accuracy and supporting improvement efforts. /li liIs qualified to lead issue resolution across functional areas. /li /ul /li /ul h3Physical Requirements /h3 ul liSitting/Standing: Prolonged sitting with occasional standing or walking. /li liComputer Use: Frequent typing and prolonged screen time. /li liLight Lifting: Frequently lifting or carrying objects up to 15 pounds. /li liVisual: Clear vision for reading and inspections. /li liHearing Clarity: Ability to hear conversations in person or in virtual communications. /li /ul h3Work Environment /h3 ul liHealth Center/Clinic: Work within a healthcare facility, interacting with patients and staff. /li liRemote: Home or remote office, using virtual communication to collaborate and interact with patients and staff. /li liModerate‑Paced: Dynamic environment that requires both productivity and accuracy to reach goals and project objectives. /li liOffice Hours: Standard business hours, with occasional extended shifts based on clinic needs. /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
