ppFor our renowned pharmaceutical client based in Basel, we are looking for an experienced Senior Lab IT Migration Specialist (m/f/d) to support a large-scale Windows 11 migration program within Biomedical Research laboratory environments. /ppIn this role, you will be responsible for the migration of laboratory computer systems to Windows 11 IoT LTSC Enterprise, ensuring data integrity, hardware compatibility, compliance, and minimal disruption to scientific operations. While the primary focus of the role is hands‑on migration execution, you will also support project coordination, documentation, reporting, and post‑migration activities in close collaboration with the Project Manager. /ph3Your Responsibilities /h3ulliExecute Windows 11 migrations for laboratory computer systems, including hardware refresh activities /liliPerform data backup, migration of user profiles and configurations, and post‑migration validation /liliInstall and configure scientific software applications and laboratory systems /liliCoordinate migration activities with laboratory users, scientific stakeholders, Lab IT teams, and external vendors /liliSupport migration readiness assessments, planning activities, scheduling, and rollout coordination /liliMaintain project, implementation, and migration documentation, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting /liliCollaborate closely with the Project Manager regarding planning alignment, status updates, reporting, and project data delivery /liliProvide administrative support related to migration and rollout activities /liliCollaborate with internal IT teams regarding endpoint management, security, and infrastructure‑related requirements /liliProvide post‑migration support (hypercare), investigate migration‑related issues, and take ownership of their technical resolution /liliMaintain accurate migration documentation, asset tracking, issue management and status reporting /liliEnsure compliance with IT security, operational standards, and project processes throughout the migration lifecycle /li /ulh3Your Profile /h3ulliProven experience with Windows 10 to Windows 11 migration projects /liliExperience in laboratory IT, scientific environments, or the pharmaceutical/biotech industry is highly desirable /liliStrong troubleshooting and analytical skills with a structured approach to problem solving /liliExperience with endpoint management, device deployment, and hardware lifecycle management /liliFamiliarity with scientific software and laboratory instruments is an advantage /liliExperience supporting IT rollout or migration projects, including documentation and coordination activities /liliGood understanding of Windows security, patching, and system administration /liliStrong communication skills and experience working with end users, vendors, project managers, and cross‑functional teams /liliAbility to balance hands‑on technical work /liliProject coordination and administrative responsibilities /liliFluent in English; German is an advantage /lili5 weeks of vacation /liliCoverage of certification costs /liliREKA Card with 20% discount on up to CHF 2,400 /liliCHF 400 contribution towards a gym membership /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
