The opportunity

At Hitachi Energy we are advancing a sustainable energy future for all. Join our GIS Development team within the High Voltage Products Business Unit in Zurich-Oerlikon.

You will be part of an international R&D team developing next-generation gas-insulated switchgear technologies for high-voltage applications. The team combines experienced specialists and developing engineers. We are now looking for a senior engineer who can strengthen our technicalexpertiseand take ownership of complex engineering challenges.

• Deliver R&D activities for high-voltage product development
• Support the development of innovative eco-gas solutions
• Lead technical investigations and root cause analyses

Your background

• Masters degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering ora relatedfield

• Minimum five years of industry experience in engineering or R&D

• Strong technicalexpertisein electrical engineerin

• Experience working in an industrial product development environment

• Proven ability to work with multiple stakeholders

• Strong communicationskills and fluent English
