This hands‑on engineering role focuses on MOCVD production, process monitoring, semiconductor material characterization, and data‑driven process improvement. Working closely with operations, process engineering, and RD teams, you will help plan and prepare epitaxial growth processes, analyze production and characterization data, troubleshoot manufacturing issues, and drive improvements in quality, productivity, and process performance across our semiconductor fabrication environment. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liPlan and prepare the growth of GaAs and InP based laser diode structures using MOCVD production equipment. /li liCoordinate semiconductor material characterization activities and analyze results to support production and process decisions. /li liMonitor production performance and maintain oversight of manufacturing data to ensure process stability, quality, and productivity. /li liDrive continuous improvements in production processes with a focus on yield, quality, and operational efficiency. /li liSupport troubleshooting activities through process investigations, data analysis, and collaboration with engineering and service teams. /li liParticipate in the implementation and qualification of new software and hardware solutions to improve fabrication processes. /li liSupport the operation and monitoring of MOCVD production tools. /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 ul liMaster's degree or PhD in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, or a comparable technical discipline. /li liFor candidates with a Master's degree, approximately 2–3 years of relevant industry experience; for candidates with a PhD, approximately 1–2 years of relevant industry experience. /li liExperience working within a semiconductor production environment is advantageous. /li /ul h3Additional Skills Requirements /h3 ul liExperience in the characterization of III‑V semiconductor layers. /li liBasic understanding of semiconductor lasers, including their physics, manufacturing processes, and applications. /li liExperience with MOCVD, epitaxial growth processes, or related semiconductor manufacturing technologies. /li liStrong data collection, processing, and analysis skills. /li liKnowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC) and process monitoring techniques is advantageous. /li liProgramming experience (e.g., Python, LabVIEW, SQL) is considered a plus. /li liResults‑oriented personality with initiative and a proactive approach to problem solving. /li liAbility to work independently while collaborating effectively with production, engineering, and RD teams. /li liStrong verbal and written communication skills in German and English. /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
