EMEA Indirect Tax Senior Specialist

VF Corporation is looking for an exceptional EMEA Indirect Tax Senior Specialist to join our Tax team based in Stabio, Switzerland.

As an EMEA Indirect tax Senior Specialist, you will ensure the accurate and timely execution of VAT compliance processes across multiple countries while contributing to the ongoing transformation of the Tax function.

Your role combines operational oversight with a strong focus on data quality, process optimization, and the adoption of automation-driven solutions. You will act as a key coordination point between external advisors, shared service teams, and the internal Tax function, ensuring consistent delivery, strong controls, and continuous improvement.

The role also supports tax accounting activities and contributes to maintaining an audit-ready environment aligned with internal policies and statutory requirements.

How you will make a difference:

• Coordinate VAT return processes with external advisors, ensuring timely submission of accurate data and proper follow-up of open items
• Oversee VAT-related activities performed by shared service or BPO teams, including reconciliations and payments
• Review VAT data and monthly reconciliations to ensure completeness and identify discrepancies
• Support tax accounting activities during month-end and year-end close, including data preparation and analysis
• Monitor risks, ensure proper documentation, and maintain a strong audit trail
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, with a focus on standardization and automation
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Finance, Controllership, AP/AR) to improve end-to-end VAT processes

Skills for Success

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Tax
• Good understanding of VAT principles
• At least 3+ years of experience in VAT, accounting, or financial reporting
• Experience in an international environment is preferred
• Proficiency in Excel and SAP
• Interest in data analytics and process improvement
• Language Proficiency: Fluency in English is essential (written and spoken)
