ppWe’re building a new generation of endoscopes connected to a standardized tablet platform, designed to make minimally invasive procedures safer, faster, and more precise. Our technology helps surgeons access challenging anatomy and perform treatments with greater stability and control. /ppAs an EPFL spin-off, we are a fast‑growing medical device startup developing breakthrough endoscopy solutions and preparing our first products for regulatory approval. This is a great opportunity for people who enjoy working in a high‑potential startup environment, where you can have a direct impact on the product and grow with the company. /ph3About the Role /h3pThis Manufacturing Engineer role focuses on transitioning our current prototype devices into manufacturable, scalable medical products. You will work closely with the engineering team and contract manufacturing partners to bring RD designs into production, ensuring manufacturability, reliability, and compliance with regulatory requirements. You will report directly to the CTO and work closely with both internal engineering teams and external manufacturing partners, playing a central role in scaling our technology from prototype to production. /ppYou will play a key role in the industrialization of Dexterous Endoscopes systems, working closely with manufacturers and suppliers to establish robust production processes. /ppThis role is suited for engineers who are comfortable taking on challenging technical problems and real responsibility. Working in an early‑stage medical technology startup requires initiative, resilience, and a willingness to build systems and processes from the ground up. If you’re motivated by the opportunity to help bring breakthrough endoscopy technology into production and contribute to building a company, this role offers that chance. /ph3Responsibilities /h3ulliLead design for manufacturing (DFM) activities to convert prototype designs into manufacturable products. /liliWork closely with contract manufacturers to establish production processes. /liliOptimize device design, components, and assemblies for scalable manufacturing. /liliDevelop and document manufacturing processes and assembly workflows. /liliLead design transfer activities from RD to manufacturing. /li /ulh3Required Knowledge and Experience /h3ulli4+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering or product industrialization, preferably within medical devices. /liliFluent in English (C1). /liliStrong experience with design for manufacturing (DFM) and design transfer to production. /liliSolid understanding of manufacturing processes for precision medical devices (e.g., injection molding, precision machining, micro‑assembly, device assembly). /liliExperience working with contract manufacturers and external suppliers. /liliFamiliarity with ISO 13485 and regulated medical device production environments. /liliUnderstanding of medical device manufacturing standards and regulatory requirements. /liliExperience from endoscopy or similar MedTech companies is strongly preferred. /li /ulh3Application Process /h3pTo be considered for this role, please apply through the LinkedIn application system.
