We guided by our passions integrity, teamwork, customer centricity, and innovation – always working together as #oneVAT. /p pJoining us means becoming part of a passionate, international team where your voice is heard, your ideas matter, and your career growth is supported. /p h3Supplier Development Quality Engineer (Surface treatment/ Machining) /h3 h3Purpose of the role /h3 ul liEnsure supplier product and process quality for machining, surface treatment and related high purity processes in line with VAT specifications, standards and customer requirements. /li liDrive supplier qualification, industrialization, risk mitigation and continuous improvement to support VAT's growth strategy and stable material flow. /li /ul h3KPI's /h3 ul liSupplier quality performance for assigned suppliers, including QPPM target achievement /li liTimely qualification of suppliers, processes and second sources according to product group strategy /li liClosure effectiveness for complaints, audits and corrective actions /li /ul h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liOwn supplier quality and development activities for machining, surface treatment and related high purity processes /li liAssess supplier capability, process maturity, capacity and readiness for serial production /li liLead qualifications for new suppliers, relocations, transfers and second sources /li liPerform system and process audits covering machining, surface treatment, cleaning and manufacturing controls /li liVerify critical process controls, operator qualification, maintenance systems and validation evidence /li liReview and approve ISIR, PPAP and process qualification documentation /li liLead supplier complaint handling, root cause analysis and corrective actions using 8D methodology /li liMonitor supplier KPIs, process capability and risk trends; define improvement actions with suppliers and procurement /li liSupport Change Requests, customer escalations and shortage prevention with technical risk assessments /li liEnsure compliance with VAT standards, customer requirements and relevant regulatory expectations /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 ul liBachelor's or Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Materials Science or similar /li li5 to 10+ years of experience in supplier quality, manufacturing engineering or supplier development /li liPractical background in machining, surface treatment or high purity manufacturing /li liExperience in supplier audits, process qualification and corrective action management /li liGood understanding of quality management systems and semiconductor customer requirements /li liAbility to work in international matrix organizations with regular supplier travel /li liStrong communication, negotiation, project management and stakeholder management skills /li liHigh level of resilience, ownership and flexibility /li liMachining and surface treatment process knowledge, including: /li ul liCNC machining /li liAnodizing /li liElectropolishing /li liNickel plating /li liSilver plating /li liChroming /li /ul liHigh purity cleaning requirements and contamination risk control /li liTechnical drawing interpretation, GDT and specification review /li liISIR, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA, Control Plans and process validation /li liRoot cause analysis, 8D, 5 Why and corrective action effectiveness verification /li liSupplier auditing, process assessment and risk based supplier development /li liProcess capability analysis, KPI monitoring and data driven improvement /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
