Senior Legal Counsel

Do you want to work in an international environment where collaboration, trust, and innovation are paramount? We are looking for a Senior Legal Counsel to join the Group Corporate Centre Legal team. You will work in a diverse and flexible environment in close cooperation with colleagues in various jurisdictions, contributing to strategic initiatives that shape the future of our markets.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Provide legal advice and support on corporate matters, strategic Group initiatives and transactions.
• Support board, shareholder, and senior management matters, preparing key documentation and ensuring effective execution.
• Prepare high-quality materials and deliver clear, concise legal input to support decision-making at senior management and board level.
• Draft, review and negotiate material agreements with regulators, authorities, shareholders and other key external stakeholders.
• Lead or support cross-functional initiatives, manage external counsel, and contribute to the development of legal processes, frameworks and tools.

WHAT YOU BRING

• Master's degree in law, admission to the Swiss bar and 5+ years of professional experience in a law firm or the financial sector.
• Strong expertise in corporate law and strategic legal matters; experience in M&A, competition law and/or financial market regulation is an advantage.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage effectively with senior leadership, board-level contacts, and external stakeholders.
• Independent, pragmatic and solution-oriented mindset, with sound judgment, discretion and the ability to handle sensitive matters.
• Affinity for technology and digital tools, including AI-enabled solutions, proficiency in Microsoft 365
