Senior Consultant

ppWe are looking for a Senior Engineering Consultant to join a leading engineering consultancy serving clients across the defence, aerospace, and security sectors. In this role, you will act as a technical expert and trusted advisor, driving complex engineering projects from concept through to qualification and delivery. You will work at the interface between cutting‑edge technology and mission‑critical requirements, supporting clients on high‑stakes programs. /p h3Your responsibilities /h3 ul liLead and deliver engineering work packages on defence and aerospace programs, ensuring technical excellence and compliance with applicable standards and regulations /li liAct as the primary technical point of contact for clients, translating requirements into robust engineering solutions /li liProvide expert guidance on system design, integration, verification, and qualification activities /li liSupport proposals, technical reviews, and risk assessments across multidisciplinary teams /li liMentor junior engineers and contribute to building technical capability within the team /li liEnsure work meets relevant certification, safety, and quality frameworks /li /ul h3Your profile /h3 ul liMaster's degree (or equivalent) in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, Systems, or a related engineering discipline /li li7+ years of experience in the defence, aerospace, or a comparable regulated high‑tech industry /li liStrong knowledge of relevant standards and certification frameworks (e.g. DO-178C, DO-254, EASA/CS-25, MIL-STD, or equivalent depending on domain) /li liProven experience delivering complex engineering projects in a consulting or client‑facing environment /li liExcellent communication skills; fluent English required, German a strong advantage /li liEligibility to work in Switzerland (EU/EFTA nationals, or valid Swiss work authorisation) required given the sensitivity of the sector /li liWillingness to travel occasionally to client sites /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
