Stellenbeschreibungph3Senior Forward Deployed Engineer /h3pSalesforce’s delivery organization relies on forward‑deployed engineers to design, build, and deploy AI solutions within enterprise customer environments. In this role you’ll partner closely with a Deployment Strategist, receiving full ownership of the cycle from architecture to production. /ph3What You’ll Actually Be Doing /h3ulliDesign and build AI agents and experiences that take real actions for real organisations – owning technical components end‑to‑end from architecture choice to deployed, validated, and observable in production. This includes agent intelligence design, prompts, reasoning, tool calls, and integration with customer systems. /liliBuild and integrate data pipelines on Salesforce Data Cloud, Snowflake, Databricks, and customer data platforms, and maintain agent performance dashboards and customer KPI reporting to track deployment health and business outcomes. /liliContribute to and help lead Proofs of Concept (PoC) and Minimum Viable Products (MVP) that move from concept to deployable in days – co‑building alongside customers and partners and sharing best practices along the way. /liliSurface platform gaps, edge cases, and field insights to senior engineers and product teams – partnering with the Deployment Strategist in your pod to translate customer business challenges into solutions that actually ship. /li /ulh3You're Our Person If … /h3ulliYou have 5 or more years of software engineering or technical delivery experience, with at least one production system you can walk us through. Experience in an AI technology stack, full‑stack development, or frontier Large Language Models (LLMs) is preferred. /liliYou have solid customer‑facing technical delivery experience in consulting, professional services, or forward‑deployed engineering, and are fluent in at least two of Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, or Apex. /liliYou have strong hands‑on experience with LLMs and prompt engineering, a solid understanding of data modelling, APIs, and integration patterns, and can engage confidently with customer architects and sales teams. /liliYou are excited to travel about 25% of the time, working directly alongside customers, and thrive in fast‑moving, build‑oriented environments. /li /ulh3Even Better If … /h3ulliYou hold one or more Salesforce platform certifications such as Platform Developer I or Agentforce Specialist, and have familiarity with agent frameworks such as LangChain or LlamaIndex and orchestration patterns. /liliYou have hands‑on experience with cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, or BigQuery, and experience across specialist AI delivery areas including data engineering, platform architecture, or headless deployments. /li /ulh3Posting Statement /h3pSalesforce is an equal opportunity employer and maintains a policy of non‑discrimination with all employees and applicants for employment.
