Technical Project Lead - Embedded

ppA Swiss MedTech company is seeking a senior engineer to become the long-term technical successor to a highly experienced incumbent responsible for a well-established infusion pump platform. This is a hands‑on technical leadership role with broad ownership across software, electronics, system architecture and product development. /ppResponsibilities: /pulliOwn and drive the development of an established medical device platform across its full lifecycle. /liliLead product improvements, new features, future product generations and regulatory updates. /liliAct as the key technical authority across embedded software, electronics, connectivity and system architecture. /liliMaintain and evolve existing products rather than redesigning from scratch. * Support development in accordance with ISO 13485, IEC 62304, ISO 14971 and IEC 60601. /liliWork closely with internal teams and external stakeholders on technical decisions and product strategy. /li /ulpRequirements: /pulliStrong embedded software and firmware experience (C, microcontrollers, real-time systems). /liliBackground in electronics, including schematics, testing, analogue and digital circuits. /liliExperience with system architecture and complex product development. /liliKnowledge of connectivity technologies such as TCP/IP, RS232 and networking. /liliExposure to mechanics, fluid dynamics and medical device development is advantageous. /liliPragmatic, hands‑on engineer with strong problem‑solving skills and high ownership. /liliComfortable working independently across multiple disciplines in a small team environment. /liliFluent German and good English. /li /ulpNOTE: Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
