Drive supplier qualification, industrialization, ramp up, risk mitigation and recovery actions to support VAT's growth strategy and stable material availability. /p h3Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) /h3 ul liSupplier quality performance for assigned suppliers, including QPPM target achievement /li liTimely supplier and process qualification for relocations and second sources /li liEffective closure of complaints, audits, corrective actions and escalation recovery activities /li /ul h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liOwn supplier qualification and development for machining and welding suppliers globally /li liAssess supplier capability, process maturity, production capacity and readiness for serial production /li liDrive supplier development, industrialization and ramp up activities with clear action ownership /li liSupport relocations, second source implementation and qualification projects /li liTrain suppliers in VAT requirements, standards, technologies and process expectations /li liLead supplier complaints, root cause analysis and corrective actions using 8D methodology /li liReview and approve ISIR, PPAP and process qualification documentation /li liMonitor supplier KPIs, process capability and risk trends; define improvement actions with suppliers and procurement /li liPlan and perform system and process audits for machining, welding and manufacturing controls /li liAudit CNC turning, milling, grinding, multi-axis machining, TIG, orbital, laser and vacuum soldering processes /li liDrive closure and effectiveness verification of audit findings /li liSupport supplier related Change Requests, customer escalations and shortage prevention with technical risk assessments /li liLead supplier recovery actions, including capability assessments, material risk assessments and top management escalation support /li liDefine and drive actions to secure material availability in close alignment with Engineering, Operations and Strategic Sourcing /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 ul liBachelor's or Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or similar /li li5 to 10+ years of experience in supplier quality, manufacturing engineering or supplier development /li liStrong background in machining and welding quality, manufacturing, engineering, or supplier development /li liExperience in supplier audits, process qualification, ramp up and corrective action management /li liPractical experience with supplier relocations, second sources or supplier recovery situations /li liGood understanding of ISO 9001, ISO 3834 and semiconductor customer requirements /li liAbility to work in international matrix organizations with regular supplier travel /li liStrong communication, negotiation, project management and stakeholder management skills /li liHigh level of resilience, ownership and flexibility /li liFamiliarity with CNC machining technologies: turning, milling, grinding, multi-axis machining /li liFamiliarity with welding technologies: TIG, orbital, laser and vacuum soldering /li liTechnical drawing interpretation, GDT and specification review /li liExperience with ISIR, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA, Control Plans and process validation /li liRoot cause analysis skills: 8D, 5 Why, corrective action effectiveness verification /li liProcess validation and capability analysis (Cp, Cpk) and KPI monitoring /li liSupplier auditing, process assessments and risk-based supplier development /li liStrong knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 3834 and manufacturing process control /li liProject management, stakeholder management and escalation handling /li /ul h3Work Location /h3 p9469 Haag (Rheintal) (SG) /p h3Employment /h3 ul liWorkload: 100% /li liEmployment start: Immediately /li liEmployment duration: Permanent /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
