For the expansion of our team, we are seeking to hire in Geneva (Satigny) a dynamic and motivated Thermo-Mechanical RD Engineer. /p pMain tasks: /pulliYou are in charge of the strongmechanical and thermal /strong strongdesign /strong development and validation of electro-mechanical components for DC medium voltage for the safety, protection and reliability of railway and renewable energy industries. /liliYou are in charge of multiphysics simulations, with emphasis on strongcooling / heat transfer. /strong /liliYou are able to strongdevelop products /strong from initial concept feasibility studies, perform finite element analysis, carry out strongprototyping /strongas well as strongvalidation /strong tests till certification and product launch. /liliYou manage industrialization, product improvements and existing product maintenance. /li /ulpstrongRequirements /strong /pulliMaster or PhD in Mechanical, Energy or Electro-Mechanical engineering, or similar; or a a bachelor with an extensive experience in those field(s) of engineering. /liliExperience developing complex systems involving different technologies (in particular thermal, mechanical, electrical, magnetic). /liliExperience as a key player in inventing advanced concepts and solving critical issues. /lili5+ years successful experience as a designer for electromagnetic devices, experience within the railway / power distribution industries is welcome. /liliExperience testing and validating in accordance with international standards is an advantage. /liliFluency in French or English. /liliKnowledge of 3D CAD modelling (Solidworks is an advantage). /liliCOMSOL experience is an advantage. /liliKnowledge of finite element analysis (thermal, multi-physics, stress analysis). /liliKnowledge of Reporting and technical documentation. /liliElectro-magnetism knowledge would be an asset. /liliAbility to work in a multidisciplinary team. /liliAccurate, precise, with an appreciation of the importance of details. /liliCost and risk sensitivity. /li /ulpstrongBenefits /strong /ppWe foster flat hierarchies and direct communication, enabling quick decisions and strong collaboration across all levels.
