In this role, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting tasks, ensuring the accuracy of our financial records, and supporting the broader financial operations of the company. You will touch upon all aspects of the accounting cycle and play a key role in supporting our growth. /ph3Key Responsibilities /h3ullistrongGeneral Ledger Management: /strong Maintain accurate and up-to-date general ledger entries, ensuring all financial transactions are properly recorded. /lilistrongAccounts Payable Receivable: /strong Oversee the processing of supplier invoices, employee expense reports, and customer billing. Ensure timely payments and follow up on outstanding receivables. /lilistrongReconciliations: /strong Perform regular bank, credit card, and intercompany reconciliations to ensure financial data integrity. /lilistrongMonth-End Year-End Close: /strong Assist the Finance Manager with the month-end and year-end closing processes, including accruals, prepayments, and standard journal entries. /lilistrongTaxes Compliance: /strong Assist in the preparation and filing of Swiss VAT returns and ensure compliance with local tax regulations and Swiss accounting standards (Code des obligations). /lilistrongReporting: /strong Support the preparation of monthly financial statements, management reports, and ad-hoc financial analysis. /lilistrongProcess Optimization: /strong Continuously look for ways to improve, automate, and streamline accounting processes and internal controls. /li /ulpstrongRequirements /strong /ph3Requirements Qualifications /h3ullistrongEducation: /strong Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Brevet Fédéral de spécialiste en finance et comptabilité (in progress or completed), or CFC d'employé(e) de commerce with a strong accounting focus. /lilistrongExperience: /strong 5 to 10 years of proven experience as an Accountant, ideally within a fast-paced corporate, startup, or scale-up environment. /lilistrongTechnical Skills: /strong * Solid understanding of Swiss accounting principles (Swiss OR). /liulliAdvanced proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.). /liliHands-on experience with modern ERP systems or accounting software (BI a plus) /li /ullistrongLanguages: /strong Fluency in French and English is required (both written and spoken).
