Project Subcontracts Manager

ph3Purpose /h3pThe Project Subcontracts Manager will lead the management and execution of subcontracting activities across the project lifecycle, ensuring that subcontracts are awarded, administered, and closed out in alignment with project objectives, contractual requirements, and industry best practices. /ph3Responsibilities /h3ulliDevelop and implement subcontracting strategies to optimize project outcomes and ensure compliance with company policies and project requirements. /liliMaintain subcontractor relationships and open communication to address challenges and drive effective collaboration. /liliLead project subcontract negotiations to secure favorable terms and conditions that mitigate risks and protect the organization’s interests. /liliMonitor subcontractor performance and implement corrective actions as necessary to meet project timelines, budgets, and quality standards. /liliEnsure all subcontracts are administered in line with legal, regulatory, and company requirements, maintaining accurate records for audit purposes. /liliCollaborate with internal stakeholders, providing guidance on subcontracting matters and supporting the resolution of disputes or issues. /li /ulh3Education /h3ulliAt least a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Law, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. /li /ulh3Experience /h3ulliAt least 10 years of experience in subcontract management within the Oil Gas industry, including complex offshore or onshore projects, with strong negotiation, communication, and problem‑solving skills. /liliComprehensive knowledge of subcontracting principles, contract law, and industry practices. /liliCertification in Contract Management (e.g., CPCM, CFCM) is preferred. /li /ulh3Functional Competencies /h3ulliDocument and Correspondence Management /liliContractual Change Identification and Management /liliContractual Close‑Out /liliClaims Knowledge /liliContract Management /liliNegotiation /liliSub‑contracting /liliLegal Knowledge /li /ulpSBM Offshore is proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action employer.
