ppAs our bGroup CO₂ Specialist /b, you will help shape how the Liebherr Group measures, manages, and advances its climate ambitions. In this hands-on, cross-functional role, you will strengthen our decarbonization efforts, improve emissions data quality and governance, and translate strategic CO2 goals into operational reality across 13 product segments. /ppYou are analytical, pragmatic and collaborative. You thrive at the intersection of data, strategy, and leadership, partnering closely with namely engineering, operations, sustainability, finance, and top management to deliver measurable impact. /ph3Responsibilities: /h3ulliSupport the implementation and continuous improvement Group-wide CO₂ accounting and reporting processes. /liliHelp ensure alignment with key reporting frameworks such as CSRD, Greenhouse Gas Protocol, and other relevant standards. /liliContribute to the consolidation of emissions data across all product segments, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and audit readiness. /liliSupport the reporting of climate-related disclosures for annual and sustainability reports. /li /ulh32. CO₂ Governance Strategy /h3ulliHelp define, implement, and oversee the Group’s CO₂ governance framework, ensuring clear roles, responsibilities, and decision-making structures. /liliSupport the integration of CO₂ considerations into business planning, product development, and operational processes. /liliSupport Group-wide decarbonisation initiatives, including target-setting, technical assessments, and roadmap development. /liliEvaluate, propose, and help implement CO₂ reduction opportunities across the value chain. /liliMonitor progress against Group targets and help track the effectiveness of initiatives. /li /ulh33. Cross-Functional Coordination Collaboration /h3ulliAct as the central coordination point between Group-level teams and local expert teams across all product segments. /liliFacilitate knowledge-sharing, methodology alignment, and consistent CO₂ management practices throughout the Group. /liliSupport top management with decision-making by providing insights, data analyses, and strategic recommendations. /li /ulh34. Internal Engagement, Training Workshops /h3ulliHelp develop and deliver training, workshops, and guidance materials across the Group including briefings for leadership and updates for broader internal specialist and non-specialist audiences. /liliMinimum 3+ years of proven experience in sustainability, CO2 strategy, environmental management, or related fields. /liliExperience with both CSRD and GHG Protocol required. SBTi, Ecovadis and related reporting or assessment frameworks are a strong asset. /liliPractical experience with decarbonisation measures, CO₂ strategy development, and target setting. Experience with product carbon footprint or life cycle assessment would be an asset. /liliExperience working with or presenting to top management is highly desirable. /liliExperience in a multinational corporate environment is an advantage and experience in the construction industry or similar is preferred. /liliUniversity degree in a technical, economic, business, or sustainability-related field. /liliStrong analytical and data skills capabilities. /liliAbility to translate complex topics into clear, actionable business insights. /liliExcellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder‑management capabilities. /liliStructured, detail-oriented and collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively with both Group-level and local expert teams. /liliEnglish fluency required in writing and speaking.
