This is a high‑impact role at the intersection of regulation, trading, and operations, with direct influence on commercial value through carbon intensity (CI) optimization and biofuel credit management. Based in our Geneva, Switzerland office, you will serve as the subject‑matter expert on European biofuel regulatory programs and voluntary schemes, owning end‑to‑end compliance, audit readiness, and sustainability reporting across multiple jurisdictions. /p h3Major Responsibilities /h3 ul listrongSustainability Compliance Certification /strong ul liLead all ISCC certification activities (EU, PLUS, and applicable voluntary schemes), including audit preparation and execution. /li liAct as primary point of contact for external auditors and certification bodies. /li liMaintain full compliance with EU RED II/III and country‑specific biofuel regulations. /li liEnsure proper documentation, traceability, and proof of sustainability (PoS) across supply chains. /li /ul /li listrongRegulatory Reporting /strong ul liLead all regulatory submissions to European authorities (e.g., energy agencies, environmental regulators). /li liEnsure accurate and timely reporting of volumes, sustainability characteristics, and GHG emissions. /li liMonitor regulatory changes and proactively adapt internal processes. /li /ul /li listrongBiofuel Credit Obligation Management /strong ul liManage Compliance Scheme Obligations (CSOs) and national biofuel mandates (e.g., UK RTFO, Sweden, Germany, Netherlands). /li liTrack, optimize, and report biofuel credits / tickets across European programs. /li liDevelop strategies to optimize value from environmental credits in coordination with trading teams. /li /ul /li listrongMass Balance Supply Chain Integrity /strong ul liOwn and maintain mass balance systems across terminals and supply chains. /li liEnsure accurate tracking of feedstocks, intermediates, and finished products. /li liWork closely with operations to ensure compliance with chain‑of‑custody requirements. /li /ul /li listrongInventory Management /strong ul liManage sustainability‑related data and credit inventories within the ETRM system. /li liEnsure alignment between physical movements, sustainability attributes, and commercial positions. /li liReconcile discrepancies between operational, trading, and compliance datasets. /li /ul /li /ul h3Qualifications Experience /h3 ul li5–10+ years of experience in biofuels, sustainability, or environmental commodities. /li liDeep expertise in European biofuel regulations (RED II/III, national mandates, voluntary schemes). /li liStrong working knowledge of ISCC certification and audit processes. /li liExperience with mass balance accounting and chain‑of‑custody systems. /li liFamiliarity with ETRM systems and data reconciliation in trading environments. /li liProven track record managing regulatory reporting and external audits. /li /ul pLove's is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
