As an AI Enablement Engineer you will be responsible for accelerating AI adoption across the Technology department while helping the wider organization identify and implement high-impact AI initiatives.
Reporting directly to the Head Talent & Methodology you will work closely with Engineering Managers the Tech Drive (Technical Governance) Communities of Practice Methodology Human Resources Product Strategy Operational Products and other business departments.
Your mission is simple:
Make AI a core engineering capability at Swissquote.
You will continuously identify opportunities where AI can improve engineering excellence operational efficiency and product innovation while ensuring adoption follows Swissquotes governance and quality standards.
Rather than only delivering training you will build a sustainable enablement ecosystem that allows teams to become autonomous AI practitioners.
Key Responsibilities
AI Enablement & Learning
- Design build and continuously evolve the Software Engineering AI Enablement Program.
- Deliver hands-on workshops technical trainings bootcamps and office hours.
- Coordinate AI learning initiatives across Software Engineering and Technology.
- Develop practical learning paths covering Generative AI AI-assisted software development prompting AI agents automation and emerging AI capabilities.
- Create reusable playbooks best practices and engineering guidelines.
- Measure AI adoption and continuously improve enablement programs through feedback and metrics.
Partnership Engineering Excellence
- Work alongside engineering teams to identify opportunities where AI can significantly improve software development lifecycle productivity.
- Help teams integrate AI into software design coding testing documentation operations and maintenance.
- Prototype AI-powered engineering workflows and reference implementations.
- Actively collaborate with internal Communities of Practice and CoP Manager
- Organize technical talks demos hackathons and AI events
- Encourage experimentation while promoting responsible AI usage.
Working together with the Tech Drive organization you will:
- Contribute to Software Engineering AI standards and best practices.
- Participate in defining AI governance for engineering activities.
- Ensure AI usage aligns with security compliance and regulatory requirements.
- Identify recurring engineering challenges and propose AI-driven improvements.
Business Enablement
Beyond engineering you will collaborate with Operational Products Product Strategy HR and business stakeholders to:
- Identify high-value AI opportunities.
- Facilitate AI discovery workshops in collaboration with the Methodology Team
- Prototype business solutions using Generative AI.
- Support departments during AI adoption and change management.
- Act as a trusted advisor on AI opportunities and implementation approaches.
Additional responsibilities - Innovation & External Representation
As one of Swissquotes AI ambassadors you will:
- Monitor AI trends technologies and industry best practices.
- Evaluate emerging AI tools and frameworks.
- Represent Software Engineering internally across Swissquote.
- Contribute to Swissquotes visibility externally through conferences meetups articles or technical communities when appropriate.
Qualifications :
Required Qualifications
- 2-5 years of experience in Software Engineering Platform Engineering Developer Experience or Technical Consulting.
- Strong software engineering background with experience building production systems.
- Practical experience using Claude or similar LLMs in your own work: prompt engineering using AI coding assistants building small internal tools or scripts that leverage LLM APIs
- Demonstrated experience leading technical enablement mentoring or training engineers.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong understanding of software engineering best practices.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong bias toward execution and continuous improvement.
- Passion for learning experimentation and knowledge sharing.
- Curiosity about AI governance security and cost management and willingness to learn Swissquotes specific constraints and policies
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Claude Code OpenWebUI or similar AI development environments.
- Exposure to spec-as-source agentic workflows or RAG patterns even in small side projects
- Prior experience running brown-bag sessions workshops or internal documentation initiatives.
- Familiarity with Claude OpenAI OpenWebUI GitHub Copilot Cursor or similar AI platforms.
- Experience with RAG AI Agents MCP orchestration frameworks or agentic workflows.
- Knowledge of AI governance security and regulatory requirements.
- Experience working in regulated environments.
- Public speaking experience conference presentations or technical content creation is a strong plus.
