This role provides hands on exposure to how an international industrial group develops its CI system, drives performance improvement, and supports capability building across divisions and sites. You will work closely with the Global CI Lead, the Operational Excellence team, and CI representatives across the company, contributing to the development, governance, and deployment of our Continuous Improvement framework. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain practical experience in Lean, Continuous Improvement, operational excellence, and cross functional transformation within a global industrial organization. /p pbYour responsibilities /b /p pbr/As part of the Group Continuous Improvement team, you will support the evolution and consistent application of our CI system. Your responsibilities will include: /p liSupporting CI governance routines by helping maintain standards, templates, and documentation aligned with the global CI framework. /li liConsolidating and structuring CI materials, including methodologies, training content, maturity assessments, and project documentation in a centralized repository. /li liReviewing and aligning CI documents with Group standards and recognized Lean best practices to support harmonization across divisions and sites. /li liContributing to CI capability building, assisting in the preparation of training materials, problem solving guides, and learning modules. /li liSupporting the global CI network, including preparing communications, tracking deliverables, and assisting in meetings, workshops, and best practice sharing sessions. /li liHelping monitor CI performance, supporting the collection and structuring of KPIs, project pipelines, and maturity assessment inputs. /li pbOur requirements /b /p pbr/We are looking for a motivated and structured individual with the following background: /p liBSc or MSc student (or recent graduate) in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Management Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. /li liStrong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to work with data, processes, and structured methodologies. /li liInterest in Lean, Continuous Improvement, and operational performance. /li liComfortable working with documents, KPIs, and standardized frameworks. /li liClear and professional communication style, with the ability to interact with diverse stakeholders across geographies. /li liProactive, reliable, and detail oriented working approach. /li liConfident user of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). /li liFluent in English (C1 level). /li liAt the time of the internship, the intern must be enrolled at an university in Switzerland. /li pbReady to start? /b Marko Colic (Manager HR Europe) and the recruiting team are looking forward to get to know you and are available for further questions by email (marko.) or by phone ( ) /p pbBe yourself at Datwyler /b /p pWe are convinced that people make the difference.
