Civil Engineering Project Manager - Heritage Buildings

Our client is a consulting engineering firm recognised for its technical expertise and commitment to quality, active in the field of civil engineering and building. Based in Lausanne, it develops a variety of public and private projects, ranging from residential buildings to complex infrastructures, with an approach based on rigour, sustainability and innovation.As part of strengthening its heritage buildings department, the firm is looking for a Civil Engineering Project Manager capable of combining project management and structural calculations.

Role & Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate renovation projects of heritage buildings.
• Carry out studies and structural calculations of load-bearing structures (reinforced concrete, timber, steel, mixed) in accordance with SIA standards.
• Supervise the technical monitoring, planning and financial control of projects.
• Play an active role in coordination with architects, clients and partner companies.
• Participate in the continuous improvement of internal processes and the development of the department's technical standards.

Profile Sought

• Civil engineering degree from EPF, HES or equivalent recognised in Switzerland.
• Proven experience (at least 6 years) in structural calculations and building project management in Switzerland.
• Strong references in the field of heritage buildings.
• Excellent command of SIA standards and calculation software (Cubus, AxisVM, RFEM, etc.).
• Interest and sensitivity for the renovation of historic buildings.
• Rigour, analytical mind and ability to work independently.
• Good level of French required
