ph3Aperèu /h3 h3Job Description /h3 pThe Warehouse Manager is responsible for the safe, compliant and flawless execution of all warehouse operations. The role ensures the uninterrupted flow of materials from receipt through storage to manufacturing staging by driving daily operational execution, team performance and process discipline while maintaining the highest GMP standards. The Warehouse Manager delivers operational excellence through strong floor presence, effective resource planning, and continuous execution monitoring to support Bioplant's production objectives. /p pThis role reports to the Associate Director Supply Chain Procurement. /p h31 – Operations Quality /h3 ul liLead and execute daily warehouse operations, including goods receipt, put-away, inventory management, picking and staging for Manufacturing. /li liEnsure on-time execution of all warehouse activities to support uninterrupted manufacturing operations. /li liPlan, prioritize and allocate daily workload and resources to meet operational requirements. /li liMonitor execution throughout the day, proactively resolve operational issues and remove bottlenecks. /li liOptimize warehouse processes and workflows to improve throughput, storage efficiency and space utilization. /li liEnsure strict compliance with GMP requirements, GDP principles and internal SOPs. /li liMaintain complete lot traceability and ensure all physical and ERP/WMS transactions are executed accurately and in real time. /li liEnsure inventory accuracy through disciplined execution of cycle counts and reconciliation activities. /li liServe as the primary warehouse representative during quality audits and inspections. /li liLead investigations related to warehouse deviations, manage CAPAs and implement effective corrective and preventive actions in collaboration with QA. /li /ul h32 – Team Leadership Safety /h3 ul liLead, coach and develop warehouse personnel to consistently execute operations safely, accurately and efficiently. /li liSet clear daily priorities and monitor execution against operational targets. /li liBuild accountability through performance management, regular feedback and coaching. /li liEnsure appropriate staffing and resource allocation to support changing production demands. /li liEnforce EHS policies and GMP behaviors to maintain a safe and compliant working environment. /li liMaintain warehouse organization and housekeeping in accordance with biotech audit expectations. /li liFoster a culture of operational discipline, ownership, continuous improvement and customer service. /li /ul h33 – Operational Excellence Performance /h3 ul liDefine, implement and monitor warehouse KPIs including dock-to-stock time, staging performance, inventory accuracy, picking productivity, warehouse capacity utilization and documentation compliance. /li liAnalyze operational performance, identify trends and implement corrective actions to improve execution. /li liLead continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, quality, cost and service. /li liStandardize warehouse processes and ensure consistent execution across all warehouse activities. /li liSupport warehouse capacity planning and operational readiness to meet future manufacturing growth. /li /ul h3Technical Skills /h3 ul liStrong knowledge of GMP/GDP requirements within pharmaceutical or biotechnology manufacturing. /li liExperience managing temperature-controlled and cold-chain materials. /li liAdvanced proficiency with ERP/WMS systems (SAP, SAP EWM or equivalent). /li liStrong understanding of inventory control and warehouse execution processes. /li /ul h3Soft Skills /h3 ul liStrong execution mindset with a hands‑on leadership approach. /li liExceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. /li liAbility to prioritize and execute effectively in a fast‑paced GMP environment. /li liStrong cross‑functional leadership with Manufacturing, QA and Supply Chain. /li liData‑driven decision making and analytical problem-solving. /li liExcellent communication, coaching and team development skills. /li /ul pDisclaimer: The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed by employees assigned to this job.
