As we deliver real-time player tracking, sport analytics and broadcast augmentation to more customers worldwide, we are looking to scale from hundreds of sport venues to thousands. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liDesign and code end-to-end processes enabling untrained staff to autonomously prepare, install and monitor all Linux servers and networking devices installed in 300+ sport venues /li liDesign and code end-to-end processes enabling developers to autonomously deploy and monitor our player tracking and augmentation applications /li liTake ownership of long-term technical efforts and articulate design choices to technical and non-technical people /li liCollaborate closely with teammates to solve problems, share knowledge and provide actionable feedback /li liParticipate in an on-call rotation that emphasizes eliminating repeating escalations /li liVisit the Lausanne Jordils office 4 times per week, with flexible hours /li /ul h3Minimum Qualifications /h3 ul liSwiss/EU/EFTA citizen or residency permit in Switzerland /li li5+ years experience in SRE with Linux /li liStrong understanding of the entire Linux server stack: OS boot and installation, systemd, networking, container deployment, logging, metrics monitoring, out-of-band management, etc... /li liStrong experience designing robust automation processes for a large inventory of on-premises servers /li liStrong experience contributing to a large automation code base using Ansible or a similar platform /li liProficient with Python programming and Bash scripting /li liAbility to communicate efficiently and articulate concepts based on the audience /li /ul h3Preferred Qualifications /h3 ul liExperience with remote fleet management without easy physical access /li liExperience designing large-scale automation processes for network routers and switches /li liStrong understanding of OSI network layers 2 and 3, ability to assess network conditions at customer sites: explain packet loss or fragmentation, cabling or NIC defects, bandwidth evaluation locally and to cloud via intercontinental transit /li liExperience with AWS EC2, S3, VPC, IAM /li liExperience with Nvidia GPU driver installation and monitoring /li /ul h3Our Stack /h3 ul liLanguages and frameworks: Python, Bash, Ansible /li liServers: Ubuntu/Linux, bootc, Nvidia GPUs /li liNetworking: Mikrotik, FS /li liCloud: Ansible AWX, Tailscale, Netbox, Docker, Kubernetes, Prometheus, Grafana, AWS Cloud /li /ul h3Our Work Environment and What You Will Benefit From /h3 ul liBecome part of the world of elite sports, build systems that support data analytics and augmentation for the best leagues /li liEnjoy an innovative and dynamic environment that encourages self-development /li liDevelop automation solutions that directly improve the daily work of dozens of operational staff and developers /li /ul pThe base salary range for this role is CHF 140,000 - CHF 155,000.
