Project Overview

Nextlink is seeking IS Project Manager will lead the end-to-end delivery of the Global Trade Services (GTS) greenfield implementation leveraging ABBs design principles and templates. This role will reuse proven compliance frameworks configure independent trade compliance processes and controls for Robotics manage multi-country roll-outs and integrate with external systems. The primary objectives are to ensure export control and customs compliance avoid cross-border operational disruptions and enable scalable audit-ready global trade processes.

Core Responsibilities

• GTS greenfield implementation: Lead deployment using ABBs design principles and compliance frameworks adapted to Robotics requirements.
  

• Compliance process configuration: Configure independent trade compliance processes and controls aligned with global trade regulations.
  

• System integration: Manage integration with external systems (e.g. S/4 Hana ERP customs systems) to ensure seamless trade operations.
  

• Multi-country roll-out: Plan and execute complex deployments across multiple countries balancing local regulatory requirements with global compliance.
  

• Project governance: Establish governance manage budget/timeline and mitigate risks (regulatory gaps integration issues roll-out delays).
  

• Stakeholder collaboration: Partner with trade compliance IT operations teams and external vendors; lead change management and training initiatives.
  

• Audit readiness: Ensure GTS processes are scalable audit-ready and fully compliant with export control and customs regulations.
  

Requirements

Mandatory Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science IT Business Administration or related field.
  

• 5 years of IS/IT Project Management experience with proven SAP GTS greenfield implementation expertise.
  

• Demonstrated experience in multi-country enterprise system roll-outs external system integration and trade compliance framework implementation.
  

• PMP/PRINCE2 certification.
  

• Deep knowledge of GTS configuration global trade regulations and audit-ready process design.
  

Technical & Soft Skills

• GTS expertise: Strong knowledge of greenfield deployment leveraging design templates and ERP/external system integration.
  

• Roll-out management: Ability to balance local regulatory requirements with global compliance standards.
  

• Risk mitigation: Skilled in identifying and addressing regulatory and operational risks.
  

• Stakeholder/vendor management: Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
  

• Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project Jira).

• SAP GTS certification.
  

• Experience integrating GTS with SAP S/4 Hana or similar ERP/financial systems.

Required Skills:

710 years of experience in Java/J2EE development Strong experience with Spring Spring Boot Hibernate and Microservices architecture Hands-on experience with Java 8 / JEE technologies Experience building applications using Spring Framework or similar web frameworks Strong understanding of multi-threading HTTP protocols REST API design and SOAP web services Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in Python development Experience with Python web frameworks such as Django Flask or FastAPI Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and design principles Experience integrating RESTful APIs and third-party services Knowledge of relational and non-relational databases including Oracle MySQL PostgreSQL and MongoDB Experience with in-memory cache technologies such as Redis or Hazelcast Hands-on experience with React for UI development Expertise in HTML5 JavaScript jQuery and modern frontend technologies Experience with Git and version control systems Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines DevOps practices and cloud environments Experience working in banking or regulated industry methodologies
