We also offer generous tuition/continuing education reimbursement programs, mentoring opportunities, flexible work arrangements, and Colleague Resource Groups. /ppbResponsibilities include but are not limited to: /b /plipSupport reinsurance underwriters across Europe on all aspects of assessing, rating, and processing new and renewal business. /p /lilipAnalyze reinsurance submissions from clients and accurately input relevant data into systems. /p /lilipCalculate and book premiums in underwriting systems, issue policy documentation, and manage processing of endorsements. /p /lilipSupport risk evaluation and pricing through data analysis, modeling, and risk rating tools. /p /lilipAssist with maintain and building relationships with clients and brokers, providing exceptional service and ensuring clear communication. /p /lilipSupport to monitor market trends and developments to align underwriting strategies with emerging risks and opportunities. /p /lilipAssist with portfolio analysis and reporting to ensure alignment with organizational risk appetite and performance targets. /p /lilipParticipate in internal training sessions to maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry practices and regional regulations. /p /lipbQualifications, Education Experience: /b /plipBachelor's Degree, or equivalent professional qualification. /p /lilipExperience in the European or international reinsurance or insurance industry. /p /lilipPrior experience of 3-4 years in underwriting (preferably insurance or reinsurance) is strongly preferred, though experience in claims or brokerage is also acceptable. /p /lilipCompletion of relevant industry certifications (e.g., CPCU, CII, or equivalent) is advantageous. /p /lipbKnowledge, Skills Competencies: /b /plipFluent in English; proficiency in German and/or other European languages is a strong asset. /p /lilipHighly detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple tasks and priorities effectively. /p /lilipStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure. /p /lilipExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative and team-oriented mindset. /p /lilipSelf-motivated and proactive, with a willingness to take initiative and learn from feedback. /p /lilipFamiliarity with reinsurance principles, regulatory environments, and market dynamics in Europe is a strong plus. /p /lilipComfortable working with technology, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). /p /lilipAmbition to progress within the organization, with a desire to take on increasingly complex underwriting responsibilities. /p /lipOur Culture /ppAt Everest, our purpose is to provide the world with protection.
