IT PMO

We're excited to announce an opening for a Project Management Officer (PMO) to join our IT Team at the Geneva HQ to works with Geneva staff and offshore teams.

Reporting to the Senior IT Director, the Project Management Officer will monitor and follow up on action items, effectively bridging communication between various stakeholders and ensuring that all project components are progressing according to plan. you will be instrumental in identifying areas for process improvement and will collaborate closely with team members to implement solutions that enhance operational efficiency.


Some of your key responsibilities.

• Support your director in the design and implementation of the strategy but also on all admin tasks.
• Functional leadership to drive remote PMO in Italy, Belgium and India and Team Leads in GVA with transversal activities.
• Implement projects reporting and Achieve communication on the project achievement on the monthly / quarterly basis.
• Organize meetings and take Minutes.
• Support effective communication with program team and all involved stakeholders
• Support and create presentation material for the director. Upon request, review and proposed design improvement on team presentation material
• Follow-up required action plans
• Perform quality control and PMO reporting
• Assist in governing project risk and issues practice, ensure project roadmap are built, reviewed etc…
• Be a contributor in the development of staff training material
• Ensure headcount management / accuracy across the different sites.
• Prepare budget (FTE, non- FTE)
• Support Director with Contract review, invoice management and budget tracking (evergreen status on spend), Invoices (pre)validation etc..
• Support Onboarding process for new joiners and as speaker provide department overview during the MSC academy sessions for new joiners

Who are you?

• From the perspective of responsibilities, growth potential, and salary, this role is better suited for someone at the early stages of their PMO career

• You have a first successful experience as a IT PMO - Please note that's a mandatory requirement, you are or have been PMO in an Agile environment in an IT dpt.
• Formal qualification in project management is a strong plus.
• Knowledge of Agile methodology (Scrum).
• Strong knowledge of MS Office Products (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
• Project management techniques and tools.
• Excellent English communication skills (oral and written)

Availability to travel twice per year in India, 2 times per year for 2 weeks as well as Travel to Italy and Belgium
