Senior Developer C# .NET , Geneva

Our client is a world-leading energy trading company headquartered in Geneva. They are looking for a talented and business-driven Senior Developer C# .NET to join their analytics team.

Your role

You will contribute to the expansion of a global analytics platform powered by real trading data, working in a flat, entrepreneurial environment with direct exposure to the business, from operations to top management.

As part of the team, you will:

• Build and evolve analytics platforms for brokers, analysts, researchers and data scientists
• Participate in the full rewrite of an internally developed solution
• Turn user feedback into concrete design improvements
• Deliver clean, tested and well-documented code aligned with business requirements
• Provide application support and training to end users
• Work on diverse projects including GIS systems, data ingestion and ad-hoc trading analysis

Required experience

• 8+ years of experience in C# .NET within enterprise environments
• Strong SQL skills, Oracle, SQL Server or PostgreSQL
• Experience working in Agile Scrum teams
• Full stack mindset, React is a plus
• Strong communication skills, ability to interact directly with business stakeholders
• Excellent English, French is an advantage
• Previous exposure to commodities or trading, a strong differentiator

Nice to have

• GraphQL or gRPC
• Reactive Extensions (RX)
• University degree in Computer Science or equivalent
