ppthe company is seeking an exceptional Vice President, Full Stack Engineer, to provide strategic technical leadership within Advisory domain in Wealth Management Technology department. This pivotal role will drive the overarching engineering, architecture, and product strategy at a platform level, shaping the future of our digital, advisory, and discretionary investment journeys for millions of customers across retail, affluent, and private banking segments. /ppYou will manage team of engineering, foster innovation, and operate with a long-term strategic vision across digitally managed portfolios and professionally managed discretionary mandates. /ph3Responsibilities /h3ulliDrive the strategic architecture and solutioning for enterprise-grade portfolio and wealth management platforms, ensuring scalability, resilience, and future-proofing. /liliShape and evolve engineering, architecture, and product strategies for end-to-end financial planning system for RM, including:ulliFinancial need analysis, investment objectives /liliProducts recommendation /liliCase management /liliInvestment and insurance fulfilment journeys /li /ul /liliLead the design, development, and delivery of complex full-stack solutions that underpin critical financial planning journeys (case management, workflow, financial objectives, need analysis etc.) across investment and insurance products. /liliOversee and manage up to 3 squads of highly skilled full-stack engineers, providing strategic direction, technical guidance, and fostering a culture of innovation and excellence. /liliChampion the adoption of cutting-edge technologies, microservice, distributed micro-frontend architectures, and advanced engineering practices to build world-class platforms. /liliDefine and enforce best practices for CI/CD, DevOps, and deployment strategies utilizing platforms like OpenShift Container Platform (OCP), ensuring operational excellence and rapid delivery. /liliProvide leadership in nurturing and developing engineering talent, including setting performance expectations, providing mentorship, and promoting continuous learning. /liliEvaluate and integrate AI assistant coding tools and other emerging technologies into the development ecosystem to maximize efficiency and innovation. /liliMaintain an extensive understanding of the financial services industry, regulatory landscape, and global technology trends, applying this knowledge to steer strategic initiatives. /li /ulh3Requirements /h3ulliExtensive and demonstrable experience in architecting, building, and delivering large-scale, enterprise-grade full-stack platforms using Java, Springboot, ReactJS, and Python. /liliProven expertise in designing, implementing and operate mission-critical investment and portfolio managements system that serve millions of users, with a focus on high availability, low latency and strong operational resilience. /liliDeep architectural knowledge of distributed systems, micro-services, and advanced micro-frontend patterns. /liliMastery of CI/CD methodologies, advanced DevOps practices, and significant experience with cloud-native deployment platforms such as OpenShift Container Platform (OCP) or similar. /liliExceptional leadership and management experience, with the ability to lead and inspire multiple engineering squads and drive large-scale technical initiatives. /liliStrong strategic thinking and planning capabilities, with a proven ability to define and execute long-term technology roadmaps. /liliStrong domain expertise in portfolio management platforms, spanning one or more of the following:ulliInvestment, insurance products /liliKnowledge on Banca; integrate with different insurance partners /liliWorkflow – Activiti, Camunda /li /ul /liliDemonstrated experience in leveraging and integrating AI assistant coding tools and other innovative technologies to enhance engineering productivity and capabilities. /liliOutstanding communication, negotiation, and influencing skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. /liliA Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field; an advanced degree is a plus. /li /ulh3Location /h3pDBS Asia Hub /p /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
